Nazloomian Family BLOG: Grigor Nazloomian, wife Sandookht Nahapetian and their children.

Grigor Abraham Nazloomian, my Great Great Grandfather, was married to Sandookht Nahapetian. They had 9 children, 7 sons and 2 duaghters. Grigor was the mayor ("Taghapet" Armenian or "Nayeb" Persian) of Kocher, a section of New Jolfa, Isfahan. Sandookh was a well-respected physician. She was known to the community as “Aroos Nazi”. Their children grew up to become accountants, merchants and politicians both inside and outside their birthplace. Vartouhi, the youngest child, followed her mother’s path by becoming a registered nurse. She was one of the first registered woman nurses in Iran. My Great Grandfather, Abraham GA Nazloomian was the 2nd oldest son.
